DSAA Fire Prevention Seminar and Annual Membership Meeting
Updated: Fire Protection Seminar will be given before the DSAA Membership Meeting begins
DSAA will hold both its Annual Membership Meeting and a Fire Prevention Seminar on Saturday, August 23 at Clair Tappaan Lodge.
Saturday, August 23, 2008
10am: Fire Prevention Seminar with TFPD Bob Belden
11am: DSAA Annual Membership Meeting
Clair Tappaan Lodge
The morning will begin at 10am when Truckee Fire Protection District's Bob Belden will give a thought-provoking seminar about fire prevention. He draws a compelling image of what a likely scenario might be for fire on Donner Summit and how we can take simple precautions to protect ourselves.
Much has happened over the past year and the DSAA Membership Meeting will include a recap of the past year's events.
We will also hold elections to fill vacancies on the DSAA Board. If you are interested in running for the DSAA Board, please contact info@DonnerSummitAreaAssociation for a Board Member Job Description and other details.
Anyone interested in Donner Summit community issues is encouraged to attend the seminar and the meeting.
