August Working Meeting
The minutes of the DSAA August working meeting are now available. Apologies for the delay in posting these minutes.
Nicole Huesby and Chris Parker from Sugar Bowl came by to give us an update on their development plans. They outlined the planned expansions in the Juda Residential Project, gondola updates and the plans for new lifts up to the top of Judah and Crow's Peak.
The DSAA board outlined a new committee structure. We created five new committees, each headed up by at least one board member:

Truckee Trails Mtn Bike Trail Building
The Truckee Trails Foundation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the International Mountain Bicycling Association are holding "Truckee Trails Day 2006" and working on three trails: the Stockrest Springs Trail, the Glenshire Lake Trail, and in Martis Valley.
When: Saturday, September 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with BBQ to follow trail building.
Where: Martis Creek Campground for registration and then off to work.

Fire Safe Vegetation Drop-Off
The Fire Safe Vegetation Drop-Off is open in the parking lot across from the Soda Springs Ski Resort. The drop-off is scheduled to be open until October 1st. If you have any questions you can call the Nevada County Fire Safe Council at 530-272-1122.
Please note that only vegetation is allowed. No garbage or construction debris.
