You are invited to join the Placer County, Donner Summit Municipal Advisory Council for the last meeting of 2015. This meeting will include the introduction of the new CEO of Sugar Bowl, Greg Dallas.
Municipal Advisory Councils (MACs) are comprised of local residents who advise the Board of Supervisors on issues or concerns. MACs are designed to provide a local public forum where information about land use, transportation and general county information is shared and discussed. Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend MAC meetings to talk about issues that are important to them.
Meetings are held three times a year, January, April and October. Below are some of the points on the agenda for October 15th:
- Proposed Zoning Text Amendment for Secondary Dwelling Units – Zoning Text Amendment that will provide property owners with more flexible options to develop a secondary dwelling unit to accommodate family or a potential renter – Cathy Donovan, Housing Specialist, Placer County Services
- Update on the Memorial Overland Emigrant Trail Project – Andy Fisher, Placer County Department of Public Works and Facilities, Parks and Grounds Division
- Sugar Bowl Update – Chris Parker, Housing Specialist, Placer County Planning Services
