Volunteer for TDLT Royal Gorge Trails Day

August 8, 2015

8:30 – 4:30

meet across from Ice Lakes Lodge

Join with your friends and neighbors in helping improve trails in the Royal Gorge area on Saturday, August 8. The Truckee Donner Land Trust (TDLT), in cooperation with DSAA and the Serene Lakes Property Owners’ Association (SLPOA) Stewardship Committee, seeks up to 20 volunteers to contribute a day’s labor to trail maintenance and construction.

The specific project(s) will be determined as the day approaches. Meet at the corner where Serene Road intersects Soda Springs Road (opposite the former Ice Lakes Lodge) at 8:30 AM. Bring lunch, water (at least 2 qts), and appropriate clothing — long pants, long-sleeved shirt, sturdy shoes, sun protection (hat, glasses, and lotion), and insect repellent. TDLT provides tools and supplies, including work gloves.

You must pre-register with kevin@tdlandtrust.org so that Kevin can monitor numbers and know how much equipment to bring. Sorry; this is not a pet event.
